Pause Studio Reopening Update

Dear Pause Community,

We hope this update finds you all well and creating space for things that bring you joy and ease, alongside the many things right now that are calling for courage, deep patience, and love. 🙏

We are poised and ready to shape Pause moving forward in a way that will best serve you all – both our Portland-based members and those of you who have joined us from afar. We're now officially an international community, with folks in over 12 states and even a few across the pond. Yahoo!

We feel full of possibility and know two things for sure:

  1. Together, we've created a thriving online community that we'll continue to nourish and grow.

  2. The studio is as beautiful as ever and we're eager to host you for in-person offerings. We still get weak in the knees walking in there, and the property owners made some awesome renovations like new blinds, windows that open, fresh ventilation, fresh brick, and more! We're so excited to share it with you.

We were planning to reopen the studio for in-person offerings in September (2021), but given the rise of Delta and breakthrough cases (and the new mask mandate in Oregon), we are *pausing* to recalibrate, once again. We hope to know more soon.

Looking ahead, we created the following chart to share our vision for offerings:

To summarize, we plan to:

  • Keep our daily drop-in classes LIVE ONLINE (for now) including sound baths and private sessions.

  • Begin offering workshop, courses, retreats, events, private sessions, and sound baths IN-PERSON in the studio as soon as we are able to do so safely.

  • Explore HYBRID offerings for some classes, workshops, courses, and retreats.

  • Down the road, possibly add daily drop-in classes back to the in-person schedule.

We will update this blog post (or post another one) as soon as we know more. If you want to stay in the loop, sign-up for our e-newsletter. We send updates every few weeks, along with new online offerings and mindful tools, tips, and wisdom!

In the meantime, thank you for your patience and flexibility as we all continue to navigate these uncharted waters. We feel so lucky to be in community with you and we are humbled and deeply grateful that you continue to show up, in all of the wholehearted ways you do. With love and a horizon of possibility, Rena & Ryan, Cofounders
