When you're overwhelmed, your SURVIVAL BRAIN takes charge.

Your survival brain is great at keeping you alive, but it also produces an excess of negative emotions like stress, anxiety, anger, frustration and other forms of mental chatter that erode your wellbeing and performance.

Survival brain is the default mode of operating and it's where most people get stuck.

Pausing activates your WISE BRAIN.

Research demonstrates that you can actively shift the neural activity and blood flow from your survival brain region to your wise brain region through deliberate pauses. 

Each time you consciously shift out of your survival brain and into your wise brain, you're building the mental muscles to thrive in any circumstance and consistently show up as the best version of yourself.
