About the Offering

Yin + Yoga Nidra is a beautiful complement to the surrender of Fall. Turning inward with a nourishing yin practice where we will hold restorative poses for 3-5 minutes releasing tension and quieting the mind. We will then move into the practice of yoga nidra, translated as yogic sleep, yoga nidra offers access to the space between wake and sleep. It is in this state of consciousness that the body and mind are able to fully relax. All you need to do is follow the sound of Emily’s voice.

In this workshop, we will:

  • slow down the nervous system
  • release physical tension in the body
  • clear energetic space
  • offer a sense of renewal and restoration for mind and body

Please have a bolster or firm pillow and a blanket. In the practice of yoga nidra, we are guided to withdraw from our senses so it is helpful to carve out a practice space with limited distractions if possible.

All experience levels welcome!
